Public Consultation & Community Building Processes
Insight Facilitation believes successful processes encourage participation, facilitate learning and provide participants with an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution. Our goal is to build community and develop healthy relationships between citizens and organizations.
We facilitate communication and build trust between your organization, participants and all stakeholders involved. This generates confidence that everyone’s input will be considered, and increases the support for outcomes. In the long run, perception of your organization is enhanced.
We invite full participation by:
- providing participants with a wide range of creative ways to participate
- assuring participants have the opportunity to present their ideas (more listening - fewer presentations)
We provide safety by:
- encouraging listening and respectful expression of all points of view
- acknowledging emotions as they happen and validating positions being held
- identifying group energy and guiding it to a constructive outcome
We facilitate engagement by:
- ensuring what people say is respectfully considered and responded to
- ensuring participants leave with a plan of action and know what will happen next
Our goal is to meet the needs of your organization and the participants. Projects are delivered on time, within budgets and content requirements are met. Participants feel heard and respected; they leave with a feeling of ownership of the outcome.
